Event Calender: Translation of "Export month's events"

How can I translate “Export month’s events” on the button near the footer into “Veranstaltungen exportieren”? Thanks!

Hi marcotungerichunddu,

The reason you are seeing words in English is because the translation is a little outdated. All of our plugins are translated by volunteers, and no one has updated the German one since those strings were changed. Would you be interested in updating the translation? That would fix your site and we’d give you a free license in exchange.

If you are interested, check out the Getting Started post where you’ll find the instructions and files you need. If you are not able to translate it, you’ll unfortunately need to wait for someone else to update the files.

Hi Leah,

I would really like to do this, but there is no “+ EXPOPRT MONTH’S EVENTS” in the .pot file. 🙁

What to do now?

Hi Marco,

That string is now split into several different strings in the .pot file. If your German .po file has been updated with the latest .pot file as per step #6 in the Getting Started post, you’ll have the strings you need. One is just “Export” and I believe the others are “Month’s Events” “Listed Events” “Day’s Events” etc. to account for the different views of the calendar.
