ParticipantI’m currently using version 3.9 of Pro on two different sites. On June 30th I noticed that the widget in sidebar was not displaying correctly. I started to get into it and read a post on forum here, but it was late so was going to get on it today.
This morning the widget displays correctly.
I’m trying to figure out what happened. This happened on two different websites, both running Twenty Twelve child themes, on unique hosting accts.
The widget in question is simply labeled “Events Calendar”

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issue you had with this. I can try to help out.
So both widgets broke on the site and then the next day they seemed to be working again?
Do you have any caching on the sites that might cause it? Could it have been a bad cache?
I visited the site you provided the link for and it looked to be working.
What exactly was not displaying correctly?
Let me know.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Brian,
Two different sites on different servers, but each was running the same widget in sidebar.
When I saw that one had basically disappeared, I poked around a bit and thought to see another site running your product to see how it was configured there, and I found that the calendar widget was also not showing on that one.
I came to the forum, read about people having issues after updating, but I had not updated anything. No changes were made on my end.
I also found that the events would appear if I dragged the Event List widget into the sidebar. Even if it was set to show 0 events, just bring in the sidebar, allowed the Calendar widget to display events.
The way they displayed seemed to be missing some of my modifications (css or template, not sure), but at least they were there.
So, I figured in the morning I would update everything and just deal with it, and when I checked this AM, things were back to normal.
Does this make any sense to you? Both sites are hosted on bluehost, one is on shared, and the other is on a WP dedicated plan, more like a VPS.
thanks for your help.

MemberHi,
It sounds like it was just a temporary glitch on the server or the site. I have not run into this before. If it comes up and we can see the issue happening then we could take a look, but for now there is not much I can suggest on the cause of this.
Cheers
