Entering dates that are not in sequence

Hello – I was hoping for advise on how to enter dates that are not not grouped together. For instance I would like to enter dates for a play that takes place:
one week on thurs, Fr, Sat at 7:30pm,;
Sun at 2pm
then the next weekend on Fri and Saturday at 7:30pm.

Suggestions? Right now for the above scenerio, I am having to enter the info in 3 times to get the days and times correct on my calendar.

Hi eguidemagazine,

The best advice I can give you at the moment is that you are doing everything correctly. Currently, our recurring events feature only works with regularly recurring events, such as 4pm every Tuesday. However, we recognize this issue with non-regular recurrences and are working on a way to address them. We are working hard to get a solution out in an upcoming release. Hang in there, help is on the way!

Actually, should have mentioned this – @eguidemagazine – you say you’re having to enter the info 3 times – I actually wrote a blog post about this, but the gist is use the “Post Duplicator” plugin (that specific one – there are many similar ones: http://wordpress.org/plugins/post-duplicator/).

This way you can create one event, duplicate it 2 more times, then tweak those. Will save u lots of time while waiting for an update if you’re doing this often.
