Tom
ParticipantI’m not sure why or when comments disappeared from events pages where they are enabled in settings.

ParticipantHi, Tom. The option to Show Comments is on the main Settings page for The Events Calendar. Please ensure that box is checked, and they should appear.
Please let us know how it goes!

ParticipantI too am having the same issue. I went into settings and ensured the comments box was enabled. To be sure I even checked it and then rechecked it. I double checked my events to make sure comments were enabled on a per-post basis. I am not sure why they are not showing. Comments are a vital function to our events. Thank you!

ParticipantThanks, everyone, for letting us know that you’ve been hit by this, too. Upon further testing, it looks like we shipped with an issue in our Default Events Template.
Would you mind switching to the Default Page Template and letting me know if commenting is available then?
Thanks for your help!

Participantjorgedp, would you mind sending me a link where I can see this behavior? I haven’t been able to replicate it.
Thanks!

Sorry for the delayed answer, glad to see this may be useful for others with similar issues..
Comments are enabled, both in Tri.be events and on the event post.
I disabled disqus and enabled jetpack comments.
