MemberHey Matthew – this is open again, per my email, and I’ve asked Tim to take another look. I’ve passed your email to him so he has context regarding your last note…and he should be able to take a look sometime tomorrow (Thursday) to try and point you in the right direction. Thanks for your patience so far.

ParticipantMatthew, I replied directly to your email; however, in case anyone else is having similar issues they can check that the main query isn’t being influenced by another plugin, post type or permalinks.
I created a simple gist that will check if the original query vars are calling for The Events Calendar and forces the query to stay on track without having ‘post_type’ reset to another post type https://gist.github.com/3286798

MemberHappy Monday, Matt. I saw that Tim sent you an email with some guidance and best I can tell you should be in a good spot here – can you confirm that you received the last note and whether you need anything else as a result of it?

ParticipantHey Rob and Tim,
I got a few emails from Tim but I think that I missed the last one he says that he sent, after I gave credentials. In other words I’m not sure what his findings were. But I can try the gist?thanks, guys,

Participant…and I just installed the new version of the plugin (2.0.9). Don’t know whether it was some magic that Tim did behind the scenes or the new plugin (or both) but I’ve got a gridview working! and widgets, too! They’re all unstyled at this point but that’s a quick-fix on my side of things and I could not be happier. Thanks for helping me through this process, guys! I wish that I could be more specific as to why it suddenly works, but that’s OK and I’m back to work! Thanks again!

MemberFantastic to hear Matt. Glad that the update got you where you needed to be. If you find down the road that any issues related to this return, let me know. I’m going to close this thread for now though. Cheers, and thanks again for your support/patience so far.
