ParticipantHi Mathew,
Did you check these options in Events > Settings > General? http://cl.ly/image/0k250b3c273J

ParticipantHi Jonah, yes I did. Should I create an account for you to look at it? I am also having some problems with the recurring events, or with things in korean, i cant figure it out. Basically when i made recurring events I would click on the widget date and it would take me to the events list saying that there are no events. Can I not put things in korean?
Thanks
M

ParticipantHi Mathew,
Try re-saving the option to display the maps. Then edit your event(s) and make sure the Show Google Map option is checked: http://cl.ly/image/3m443h0l3r05
As for the other issues, please open a separate thread for them to keep things organized.
Thanks,

ParticipantOh wow, I dont have that option. It just has the first enable maps link option.

ParticipantMathew,
The option in individual events will not display if you don’t have the main Events > Settings option checked. Please check it and re-save and see if it shows up for individual events then.

ParticipantHi Mathew,
Are you saying with the boxes checked you’re not seeing the map show up for an event?

ParticipantHmmm, the div for the map is there but it’s not displaying. Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to rule out a conflict?
October 10, 2012 at 9:15 pm #26456Mathew
ParticipantYes I have. What is the div wrapper name? Maybe its being hidden in css by some customizations?
October 11, 2012 at 7:45 am #26477Jonah
ParticipantThe div id is ‘googlemaps’… Inspecting it it doesn’t look like it’s being hidden. What version of The Events Calendar and PRO are you running?
Might help if you provided me access to your site and I can take a quick look at things. You down to send me that? You can email to pro [at] tri [dot] be – please reference this thread and attn. to me.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Mathew,
Does the map show up when you input the city/state for the venue in english? It looks like Google Maps has issues displaying this address too: http://goo.gl/maps/EMXYJ

ParticipantHi Jonah, I have switched the address to english. Google maps finds it both english and korean (when i click the google maps button it takes me to the correct location). I also switched my theme and i still have that problem. Any Ideas?
