Duplicate recurring events

    Hello.

    I posted a ticket here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/recurring-events-issues-3/
    but have gotten no response and our situation is extremely serious! I see other posts have been answered/addressed but not mine.

    Recurring events have duplicated and they cannot be deleted or changed without server error (crash).
    See Farmer’s market June 20th https://thevelodrome.com/events/2016-07/
    and all saturdays in august https://thevelodrome.com/events/2016-08/

    I’m at a point now where the only solution is to revert to our launch point back in May. Please let me know if your duplicate clean-up plugin is still valid to resolve this issue. And furthermore how do we disable recurring events so this never happens again.

    Thanks for getting in touch with us and sorry to hear about this issue 🙁

    I see that Josh replied to the previous thread you posted. Can you please review his latest answer and continue to work with him in that thread? I’ll ping Josh and offer my help as well to deal with the issue which seems to be a pretty tricky one. Regarding the clean-up script, I don’t think it’s still relevant with this version of our plugins.

    I’m closing this one as it’s a duplicate thread!
