ParticipantHey there, great plugins!
My team is noticing duplicate events in our calendar. We have two iCal feeds both set to refresh daily. Imports are refreshing daily on schedule.
Here is an example day with duplicate events: https://bodhitree.com/community-calendar/2017-09-15/
When we purchased your plugins we bought iCal Importer which we were told to not use any more. Your documentation said you were migrating to Event Aggregator, and that it was a part of The Events Calendar Pro… in other words we have a valid license for it but no actual plugin download. Is that correct?
We have these plugins active:
The Events Calendar
Version 4.5.0.1The Events Calendar PRO
Version 4.4.6The Events Calendar: Community Events
Version 4.4.4The Events Calendar: Filter Bar
Version 4.4Unfortunately this is a live site so I can’t switch to the 2014 theme or turn off all plugins to look for a conflict. I have seen enough issues like mine in your forum that I suspected this was an issue on your side, so I’d like to explore that before we do anything drastic. Please let me know if you need any more information to diagnose this problem.

MemberHi Ted
First, it looks like some of your plugins are rather out of date. Can you run updates to let me know if that resolves the issues?
You are correct in that you should be using the Event Aggregator plugin to handle these imports. The code for this resides in The Events Calendar, so updating that is super important.
Thanks

ParticipantOk thanks Courtney, we will try updating the plugins.
We have a whole development process for this so I’ll let you know if that resolves anything when we do it.
Thanks,

I know it can be a bit of a pain to do this, but your dev process for updating is valuable. Too often we see clients not willing to try updates or to get a sandbox site to test with.
Thanks

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
