Ashley
ParticipantHi,
I am having trouble with the new drop-down functionality when adding events. The “Use Saved Venue/Venue Name”, “State or Province” and the “Use Saved Organizer/Organizer Name” search function drop-down covers up the fields below it. Even after selecting the country, saved organizer and saved venue. This also prevents me from adding new organizers and new venues while I am adding the event. I would have to go into “venues” and add a new venue so that it can be selected off the saved venue list.
Another thing that I am having trouble with is that when adding the address inside the new venue page, the drop-down to choose a state or province does not pick up any province in South Africa. Then I am not able to manually type in the province, since it stays on the search function.

MemberHi Ashley, sorry for the delay.
I’ll need a user so I can actually see the form and test what’s happening. Btw, are you referring to the Community front-end form or the admin one?
Thanks

MemberAshley, I just registered an user in the site and tested the front-end form, and I don’t see the problem you’re reporting. What browser are you using?

ParticipantThis sounds exactly like what I’m reporting here:
As this is an active site, I can’t just start deactivating plugins to see where the conflict lies. Is there any way to disable the admin CSS? Or maybe run the admin stuff in no-conflict mode?I have a feeling it’s tied to some customization stuff that my WooTheme does. (Which I couldn’t disable without disabling the theme.)

MemberAdam, is there any way I could get editor access to your site to debug it myself?
Also, what browser version do you use?July 12, 2013 at 8:48 pm #54974Adam

MemberGot it. I see the issue, and indeed is a conflict with the theme. One last request, if it’s not too much trouble 🙂
Can you drop me an email with a copy of the theme so I can debug locally and see if we can fix on our side?

MemberI found the problem, but unfortunately even with your theme, I can’t replicate it ( http://files.mzaweb.com/image/0o2q1O10363M ). WooCommere css is being loaded in the events admin screen, probably by a plugin. Can you promote my user account to admin so I can see all the plugins you have activated and look for the one causing issues? (Won’t change anything, just want to see all the plugins and their versions, you can send me a screenshot if you prefer)

MemberBut first, let’s try a long shot. Add this to your theme’s functions.php

ParticipantJust changed your admin. I’m actually driving to vacation and won’t have a laptop. So if this doesn’t work we may have to revisit when I get back at the end of July.

ParticipantHi
I am having the same issue. Has this been fixed yet?
Am using Genesis Agency Child Theme with Genesis Connect for Woocommerce.
Thank you!
