ParticipantI purchased your FULL product bundle with everything in it. We are a non-profit organization that is putting together 4 different sites under one Multi-site wordpress install. We are only using the event calendar on ONE of our sites, so i purchased the normal licenses under the impression that since i was only using it on ONE site I was good to go.
It seems you guys have automated systems that keep me from being able to update anything or use certain functions (possible the issue with my other posted question of my map not showing in calendar view … a pro feature) without purchasing a multisite license.
If i am only using this on ONE of the sites (literally using this one site as the calendar for the whole project with no need for a calendar of any sort on the other sites), do i still need a multisite license?

MemberHi Christopher,
Thanks for reaching out–I’m so sorry to hear that you’re having some trouble with your Events Calendar PRO install on a multisite environment. Non-multisite licenses on multisite environments do have restrictions imposed on several features, including:
- “Network Activation” for plugins
- Individual plugin activation on 11 or more sub-sites
- Automatic plugin updates on any number of sub-sites
It doesn’t sound like any of these situations apply to your setup, so you should be just fine to continue using a Personal license for your setup. You can read more about multisite licensing and how it differs from our other license tiers on our Knowledgebase here.
If you’re experiencing problems with Events Calendar PRO plugin features that aren’t included in the above list, we’d definitely like to get some more information so that we can assist further! I’ve moved this thread to our pre-sales forum due to the nature of the inquiry, but please don’t hesitate to open a new thread in the Events Calendar PRO forum if need be. We’d be more than glad to help with troubleshooting so we can get your issues resolved as soon as possible.
I hope that helps to address your concerns here! Thanks, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
