Distance Not Working

Hey,

I have it setup with plenty of events in Los Angeles. However, if you set the distance to 50 miles in the filter nothing shows up. Please advise.

I was able to see events in the Los Angeles region at http://nerdoutapp.com/calendar/?action=tribe_geosearch&tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=map&featured=false&tribe-bar-geoloc-lat=34.0522342&tribe-bar-geoloc-lng=-118.2436849&tribe-bar-geoloc=Los+Angeles&tribe_geofence=50.

I started at http://nerdoutapp.com/calendar/, searched for the city of Los Angeles, and then set the distance to 50. Are you able to reproduce these results too?

Yes, there I can. However, when I tested it with people they didn’t understand you need to enter the location. So I can up with a shortcut page. When you go to the calendar through it it doesn’t work. Sorry I wasn’t clearer before.

It would work for 50 miles, but what if they want to adjust it? I just tried adjusting to 25 and it didn’t work. It’s saying “No results were found for events in or near “Los Angeles”.” I want people to be able to use all the features I’m providing.

Hello Michelle,

The issue seems to be in using the

featured=false&

In your link. If you remove that, the link will display results.
