Is it possible to synch the next X upcoming events to an external site, such as another WordPress site?
Basically, I mean a live calendar export.
On the other WordPress site, I want to display a widget on the homepage sidebar showing the next five upcoming events that exist on my main WordPress site. The two sites are independent installations, they are not multi-site.
I don’t currently have The Events Calendar on the other site, but I can add it if required.
If there is no such feature, does anyone know of any plugin or script that can do this?

    Hi A K,

Thanks for getting in touch, interesting request here ๐Ÿ™‚

To sync with other calendars (or sites) you can use the ics (ical) feed from the original site where The Events Calendar is installed (http://sitename.com/events/?ical=1). To show this on the external site (WordPress or not) you should create a parse script to display the feed as a list (PHP ics parsers).

Does this makes sense? If the other site is in WordPress as well, you can install The Events Calendar + iCal Importer add-on, which can run scheduled imports of the original events feed.

Please let me know if you have any other questions on this,
    Best,
    Nico

Oh great, yes the other site is also running TEC. So we will use the second option you suggested.

    Thanks Nico!
