Display page with list of venues or selected venues

Is there a way to create a page that will display a list of my venues with a picture and title?

Hi,

I can help you get in the right direction with this customization.

While I am unable to provide the coding I can say that you can create a custom template with a custom wp query and call the venues using this custom post type:

tribe_venue

Then you can display titles, featured images, or any other content using WordPress functions in the loop.

That is about as much help I can give on customizations, but if you get stuck after moving the files over to your theme let me know and I can help out on the next step and then again you can take it from there.

Hey All-
I need this functionality as well. This is a GREAT plugin and we’ve gone pro, as well as added the community events extension. It has the potential to change the way we structure our site and become as integral as the core WP. A simple archive page of venues with featured image / venue name / and excerpt would be a really nice addition to the Pro version. Hint, hint….

You don’t have a basic “template” I could build out from or some code snippets to get me started – do you?

Thanks for using out plugins and glad you like them and that is an interesting setup you have there.

I looked around we do not have a template to get you started. I would start by looking at the wp_query class:
