Disable Venue Dropdown

    I need to remove the venue dropdown from the admin area entirely—it’s causing 1-2 minute loading times in the admin area because of trying to dump too many things into Chosen.

    How can I do this?

    How’s it going? We met a couple of years ago at WordCamp Atlanta and I really enjoyed the talk you gave!

    Sorry to see that you’re experiencing load issues due to this feature! I see that you’ve got another ticket open for that so I won’t dig into that here.

    As a temporary fix, you can prevent that dropdown from loading in the admin with this snippet.
