Different map icons/makers based on category

Hi team,

Is there yet a way to customize different map icons/markers based on the categories in 2018?

I found 2 topics on this posted several years ago with no results. Hopefully there’s some positive updates on this.

Hi there,

Thanks for emailing support. Its possible with custom development but not something supported or offered at this time. You can check out the Themer’s guide in the map section on what files are available to edit or add custom code to.

Thanks for the pointer. It would be great if you can give some more specific instructions for our developers to customize this piece, because finding which template files to edit is not really what we need support for :).

I do understand that customization is not within support scope, and I greatly appreciate any helps.
