Different Custom Fields for Community Events

We have custom fields we use for our events that won’t apply to Community Events and vice versa (for instance, we sometimes include class numbers, and we’d like them to include their organization’s name). Is there a way to specify which to use in edit-event.php or the module? Or could I add fields to the organizer function?

You could override ‘modules/custom.php’ and modify that file by adding this line after line 43: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/7534220

Hope that helps!

NOTE: This will not prevent the ‘Additional Fields’ section from displaying, so if you only have one custom field, you might want to hide that section with CSS.
