Datepicker needs more localization settings

1. Dates are formatted like 15.01.2016
2. Weeks start on Monday

This is true for Germany and might be needed for other European countries, too.

Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.

For the date picker format we do not have periods, but have a

15-01-2016

You can change that setting here:

Events > Settings > Display Tab > Datepicker Date Format

You can change the Week Starts with a WordPress setting.

Go to WordPress Settings > General > “Week Starts On”

That changes the datepicker and the rest of your calendar to start on that day of the week.

You are the first person I have seen suggest that. If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

I tested the Week Starts on and it worked for me. So not sure what it is not doing the same for you unless the script is cached on the front end and not updating until it gets cleared.

As you can see in the screenshot, even WordPress Core uses that format for their German localization.

The “week starts on” issue has been a problem with my templates.
