creating my own view

Hi,, I have had a rather interesting request from my client for an additional page view that just shows a list/ table of all events coming up with no image, description. Just name, date and places left and a book now link…

I was thinking that I could do this by stripping out the necessary stuff from the List view.. but I do not want to alter the current list view I have..

so it seems I would have to create an additional list view …ie. list2

do you have any docs/ articles on this?? i.e how I would go about it…??

There are unfortunately not many specific resources about creating customized views, but we have a few related items nonetheless that should make a difference here.

To get a better sense of The Events Calendar’s templating system to begin with, we have these two articles which should be quite helpful:
