Contecting my events categories to my WP categories

Is there a way to link my categories so that my events in my calender pro that are tagged as “event categories” feed in to my main site wp “categories?” (i.e. so that events show up in both places)

Hi eguidemagazine:

Yes, that should be possible. You might make use of WordPress’s register_taxonomy_for_object_type() function here – do note however that by itself that does not mean events will necessarily show up when that category is viewed, depending on how your theme operates (so you might need to make some further tweaks at theme level).
