ParticipantHi Barry,
Sorry, I had tested on live site. So on staging area with just genesis theme running it is working. So there could be a conflict with a combo of theme and another plugin(?).

I’m the child theme developer.
Thanks, chris

MemberHonestly, if this only crops up with this custom child theme and you’re the developer then really you’re in the best position to take things from here.
I’d definitely start with fixing the bad HTML (I just visited starfiredev.staging.wpengine.com/events and see it is still in place) and take things from there.
If fixing that alone doesn’t help, perhaps you could systematically comment out or disable any actions, filters or other customizations added to Genesis by your child theme and figure out the conflict that way?
Can we give that a go?

ParticipantHey Barry,
I should have thought of this before, I did customizations in a tribe-events folder in my theme, when I rename this folder so it’s not being utilized at all the month view is fixed. I then isolated the issue to the months folder which didn’t have any customizations in it but the issue still is happening on the single view pages which is surprising to me. Are there any changes with theme customizations from 3.5 version when we integrated the pro plugin in to the site that you can think of that could be a problem?

MemberThere have definitely been incremental changes along the way – but nothing specific comes to mind that fits the described problem. If you’re able to isolate the problem to one or more custom event templates, can you do a side-by-side comparison and see what’s different in each?

Participanthi barry,
thanks for all your suggestions. I would up turning all plugins off and going through 1 by 1 and found another plugin that was running query ui which seems to be what the conflict was.
thanks again for all your help.

MemberGlad it’s all sorted 🙂
I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but of course if anything else crops up please don’t hesitate to create a new one and one of the team will be only too happy to help.
Last but not least, if you have a moment to spare, it would be awesome to hear your thoughts and experiences with The Events Calendar so far over on our plugin review page.
Thanks again!
