ParticipantI just stumbled into the issue that
views/community/modules/organizer-fields.phpis not used (and cannot be overwritten in the theme). From what I understand after skimming the forums I assume this is related to a change to allow for multiple organizers and including the admin views to save dev time.
Is this considered a bug to be fixed? What are my options?
For now I mostly just want to get rid of the table markup, but may need to do some further adjustments. I would have really liked it to just work like the venues. Perhaps I could revert part of the code to before the introduction of multiple organizers (a feature I don’t need or care for)? Any pointers to help me save some time digging through all the revisions fould be appreciated.

ParticipantI am in the same boat. I need to make changes to the markup of the fields but this file doesn’t seem to be used and I cannot find the file with the fields anywhere.
If they give us the option to modify the venue then why can’t we edit the organizer? If they really didn’t want anyone editing the organizer fields then why even bother having organizer-fields.php in the first place? So many users would assume they can modify this file using the Themer’s Guide, only to find it doesn’t work.
To me this isn’t a customization request, it’s a bug.

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues with this unfortunately, right now the template is in the admin-views directory of The Events Calendar and not able to be edited by the typical process in the themer’s guide.
There is no way to modify that template without losing the changes on each update.
We have a ticket to address this, but I do not have a timeline right now when that will happen.
I tried to see if we could use the old coding somehow, but it would error out and not saving.
It might work if you only want new Organizers to be submitted, but did not allow for existing Organizers to be used.
You could try modifying the template here:
plugins/the-events-calendar/src/admin-views/new-organizer-meta-section.php
Although not ideal as you would have to change on each update it would be quicker to do that then come up with a custom solution until we can get this fixed.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHey Daniel,
Just wanted to follow up and let you know that we released version 4.1.1 last night and it included a fix for this issue. Please update to the latest version if you haven’t already and do let us know if you continue to see any issues from there. 🙂
Cheers and thanks for your patience while we worked on this!
