    Hi

I currently use The Events Calendar Pro on my website and it works very well however I am interested in having people submit their own events to it but have a couple of questions….

    1) Is it possible for them to upload a featured image?
    2) Do the events they submit go onto my current calendar? My url is currently mydomain.co.uk/whats-on I would want their events to feature on this.
    3) Can they select the same categories that I currently have on my calendar?
    4) Is it possible to have a payment option on the submission form? For example if I wanted to charge for a featured event etc

Thanks in advance for your help

    Hi Linda,

Thanks for reaching out! These are great questions.

The short answer is yes to all of those things, except for the very last one. Community Events can handle the featured images, events being published to your calendar and categories being selected during submission.

What is cannot do is charge a fee for event submissions. You might, however, want to look into Restrict Content Pro as a way to make that happen though. You could use it to add a paywall before anyone is allowed to access the event submission form.

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!
    Geoff
