    Hi,

    On my front-end community events Edit Event screen (the event has already been saved) the category has been cleared out as well as the venue.

    For the venue I have used CSS to hide the “Use saved venue” option since the client doesn’t want users to see potentially private addresses, but otherwise there have been no other customizations.

    For the Category I have done no customizations; just the checkboxes are deselected when I try to edit.

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    I tested this out and there does appear to be a bug with the category selection. I’ve created a ticket for that one and have added this thread to that ticket. You’ll be notified here as we make progress on this one and get it ready for release.

    For the venue issue, once the event is created, the venue gets saved and added to the dropdown that you’re hiding via CSS. However, there should be an “edit venue” link there, does that not show with your customization added?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the response. No, I don’t see an “edit venue” link with my customization. When I view the source I don’t see it when I View Source of the page.

    In fact, I removed my customization to test it again to look for the “edit venue” link but it still didn’t appear. See the attached screenshot of after I selected a saved venue with my customization removed.

    Are you able to provide the surrounding markup around the edit link so I can search for it?

    Thanks for following up here.

    Looking at the source here, the edit link doesn’t show up if there isn’t a venue set so it sounds like the venue isn’t getting set here for the event.

    Does your site allow for guest submissions that get moderated? If so, would you mind if I tested submitting an event on your community page to get a closer look at this one?
