Chronological posting of events in main post loop?

Right now events are showing up in reverse chronological order, forcing people to dive down the list to find the most current event.

If they appeared in chronological order, I could at least delete items to keep the top of the post loop current.

I’d rather be able to delete event posts on the home page, yet keep them on the Events calendar themselves for the record, but I’m trying not to be greedy.

Order Events by Post Date in the Main WordPress Post Query

Add that to your theme’s function.php and let me know if that is what you are looking for.
