ParticipantHello, could you please let me know if the functionality to refresh the mini calendar will be added anytime soon? So people can navigate next/previous months to see events without the entire page refresh.
I attach a link to show what I am trying to achieve: http://screencast.com/t/O8LFRYi8RYi
Other calendar plug-ins offer this functionality and it would definitely improve The Events Calendar plugin.

MemberHey Max. Thanks for the note here; are you running 2.0.8? The ability to do what you’re requesting here was added in the 2.0.7 codebase and should already exist as you want it. Let me know if I’ve misunderstood the issue here, though.

ParticipantHi Rob,
Thanks for your reply, I have downloaded and installed the latest version 2.0.8.
Could you point me to the documentation that explains how to configure this?
This is what I am using at the moment but it doesn’t refresh the mini calendar, it takes me to the a different calendar page.<a href="” title=””>«
monthsShort[date(‘M’,$date)]; echo date(‘ Y’,$date); ?>

MemberHi Max. Thanks for the follow-up. If you’re running 2.0.8, you shouldn’t need to use any code or make any configurations to that file. It’ll work out of the box.
Here is the calendar widget as it appears on the backend: http://d.pr/i/TuvD
Here it is on the frontend, showing the current month: http://d.pr/i/WLDg
Here it is if I click forward a month when still viewing on the frontend: http://d.pr/i/k52oOur broader documentation/template tag details can be found at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation. Can you let me know what specifically you’re looking to do outside of what I’ve shown the plugin can do above, so I can do my best to advise you properly? Thanks in advance!
