Change default from filters hidden to filters shown?

Hi,

I don’t really like that users have to click show filters before the filter bar is displayed. Is there a way to change the default setting so that the filter bar is always shown by default?

I might even prefer to let go of the whole show/hide option and just make the filter bar always display and unhidable.

I’m a noob coder btw so plz explain like talking to a noob 🙂
