I understand how the ticket work via the calendar but I want the ticket to generate not from the calendar but from the shop page in woocommerce after a full payment is made. In other words, once the customer selects their product go through the payment gatemway, make their payment via paypal… at the the end of the transaction the ticket can be generated and emailed along with the order reciept from woocommerce. If that is not an option, can I create the tickets and email them manually once I get an order in?

Thanks for the interest in WooCommerce Tickets.

WooCommerce tickets can only be created in events themselves and then show on that single view of the event for purchase. It is possible to edit the ticket product to show on the shop page.

Tickets are added to a cart like any WooCommerce Product and then go through the WooCommerce Purchase Process.

Tickets for the event are generated and emailed once an order is marked complete. By default WooCommerce does not Auto Complete Orders, but there is coding to do that:
