ParticipantDear Events Calendar Team,
In Events -> Settings -> Tickets, I checked the “Events” option only (Post and Pages are unchecked).
I went ahead and created a dummy event. During creation, in the tickets meta box I created a new ticket to sell in woocommerce (and added the price along other information).
While creating this new ticket, I also checked “Request information for each attendee during registration”, so I added a text field for the Attendee name.
After publishing the event, I navigated to the permalink.
https://www.petercarradvisory.com/event/test-event/Issues:
1. In that page there is not a link to the woocommerce product page ;
2. I added the anchor #buy-tickets at the end of the page URL and landed in the same URL;
3. I went to WP backend and navigated to Woocomerce products and edited the ticket product, hoping to find the permalink to the product page, however, the permalink there is the same URL above (I was hoping to find a permalink to the product area something like https://www.petercarradvisory.com/product/test-event)Question.
How can I get to the product page where I can add the Attendee name and add the ticket to the cart to proceed to checkout?Thanks,

MemberGood morning Peter and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.1. In that page there is not a link to the woocommerce product page ;
By design, there is no link to the WooCommerce Product page, the tickets are embedded in the event itself.
With that in mind, you can tweak that behaviour. You can read all about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/selling-tickets-from-the-woocommerce-products-page/
2. I added the anchor #buy-tickets at the end of the page URL and landed in the same URL;
This part is a bit confusing to me. Adding the anchor in a URL typically only brings you to a page section containing that anchor (which it does).
Could you expand on what behaviour you would expect this to accomplish ?
3. I went to WP backend and navigated to Woocomerce products and edited the ticket product, hoping to find the permalink to the product page, however, the permalink there is the same URL above (I was hoping to find a permalink to the product area something like
As a side note, there is no need to go to WooCommerce Products (although you can if you want to). You can simply head over to your event, scroll down to the tickets section and hover over the ticket.
This will give you the “edit in WooCommerce” option.
As for the permalink part, I would recommend going through the above Knowledge Base article first. If you still have questions, I would love to help you get closer to your goal.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
