ParticipantGreetings!
When choosing a date in the future, the calendar will just spin. Visitors cannot go to future dates to see what is happening on the calendar.
My site is http://www.landbetweenthelakes.us.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Folk are beginning to complain that it isn’t working.
Thank you!

ParticipantIn addition, clicking on a future date in the calendar does work for me when I am logged in. However, it does not work for anyone else who is trying to view the calendar like normal. It will not work on my phone either, just spins. Thanks!

MemberHi caznik,
Thanks for posting here. I can certainly help you here, but we can help you better if you create your own topic in the forum, where we can interact with you one on one. Also, we the solution I provided it has to be a private reply and I cannot do that with you as you did not create the thread. So please create your own and we can help out.
Thanks

MemberHi lblnra,
Manual updates are the same process as automatic neither one does something different, but if you would like to wait it will be out later this week.
As for to your other two points:
The page “Event Calendar” uses the “/calendar” slug: the Events Calendar plugin will show its calendar in place of the page.
Edit the page slug or edit Events settings. This will be fixed in 4.1.1 as it part of the problem you are having actually.
One more question…How can I automatically get past events to go away. I have had to go in and manually delete hundreds of events from the previous year. Once they are past, I’d like them to be gone so when I put in a new event with the same name I do not want it to have a -2 at the end. Also, when people search for an event, sometimes the old one comes up. I’d like to avoid this.
We do not have a feature to do this. If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

MemberIt looks like you have two versions of Pro.
You need to go into your site by ftp of the hosting file manager.
And delete this folder:
/wp-content/plugins/theeventscalendar.compu_request_pluginevents-calendar-proversion4.1pu_get_download1pue_active_version4.0-z8p1Y9
Then you should just have one other folder for pro:
/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/
That should prevent the issue from happening.

ParticipantSo once that file is deleted, all my events will still be there and I should be able to update Events Calendar and re-activate Events Calendar Pro without issue?
