Andrew
ParticipantI just installed Events Calendar Pro on a new site, but the plugin is not letting me add in the license key provided. I’m just getting the error: “Your version of The Events Calendar is not up-to-date with one of your The Events Calendar add-ons. Please update now.”
Both versions of the plugin are up-to-date, however (versions 2.0.11), and I’ve tried deactivating everything else and reactivating the plugin, in addition to re-installing the plugins.
Please note that the licence has been provided by a third party, who has hired me to do the work.

ParticipantHi Andrew,
Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to see if there’s maybe a conflict? I’ve heard some report recently of other plugins interfering with our license system.

ParticipantYeah, I had deactivated everything and tried reinstalling, but that didn’t help either.

ParticipantI just tried it again to be sure and same issue. Still says on every page “Your version of The Events Calendar is not up-to-date with one of your The Events Calendar add-ons. Please update now.”
Is there anywhere in the tables I can add the licence key and try forcing it?

ParticipantHi Andrew,
You might try setting up a development copy of the website so you can test things out safely. Do you have any other of our plugins or add-ons installed that could be causing this message to appear? Would you be able to provide me wp-admin access? You can post here and mark as private.
Thanks,

ParticipantHmmm, it looks like it could be the theme. Can you post a copy here so I can check it out on my end? You can use http://droplr.com/ to share the file.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Andrew,
I took a look at the theme and I’m seeing the license key fields fine on my end. What’s your server setup look like (platform, version of PHP, etc.)? How much memory do you have allocated to PHP?

ParticipantThat’s odd, but you didn’t see the license fields on our install, correct? Memory allocation is good, I believe it’s 128M, PHP 5.3.17.
