Can I repeat for odd days in a week?

I’ve got an event that occurs on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; August 11-16. http://dougbardwell.com/db/event/international-fireworks-competition/
Problem is that it doesn’t occur on either Monday or Thursday nights, but my monthly calendar shows that it does.
A) Any way I can eliminate certain dates on the monthly view? or
B) Any way I can post one occurrence, say Sunday only, and then easily copy the whole event to the other three dates?

Hi photodb,

You’d need to use a custom recurring event pattern, where the event:

* Starts and ends on the first day
* You enable a custom recurring event pattern ending on the last day
* Choose the weekly custom recurrence pattern (for 1 week)
* Select only the applicable days

Perfect – thanks. I never clicked on “Weekly” so I never knew the option was there.
Regarding the second part of my question…it there any quick way to clone events where they might occur on random dates throughout the year?

Right now I am afraid not – at least there is nothing built in to The Events Calendar to help with this – but if you search for post duplicator on wordpress.org/plugins you will probably find some handy utilities that can help here (I believe a number of them work with custom post types, including events).

Found Post Duplicator – works perfectly. Just what I needed. Let’s me pull last year’s events and update the dates and times without reentering everything.
