Calendar Title

Hi,

Question: By default, the first event of a month is used as the default Title of the whole calendar.
1. Is this how you intended the calendar to work?
2. How do I change the Title of the whole calendar to just “Calendar”?

Hi there Freddie. Thanks for the note. This is not the intended behavior of the calendar, no – but we have had a handful of users report it. The problem looks specific to certain themes. Is it possible that this thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/calendar-page-title-shows-title-of-an-event-and-wont-change/#post-19270) provides a solution for you? By default, when working correctly, it reads as Calendar of Events.

Let me know if that doesn’t do the trick and I’ll follow-up best I can. Thanks for your patience so far.

I’m seeing this too. It seems the first event of the month is being used as the title of every page generated by ECP – calendar, event listing, and every other individual event.

FWIW I’m using “Default Page Template” in settings and is in page.php.

Hi Simon,
