ParticipantI believe I successfully followed the steps listed here: https://theeventscalendar.com/faqs/the-calendar-page-title-shows-title-of-an-event/
Our theme is called “edge” and we’re using the fullwidth template for our events pages:
http://seattleglobalist.com/events
Any help getting this figured out will be much appreciated!

ParticipantI am having the same problem. However, I know nothing about .php and don’t really want to mess with the guts of my theme. When is version 3.0 coming out? Since I paid $100 for this, I am disappointed that I am having what seems like a pretty basic issue. Thanks.

MemberHi kariosdesign, we’d be happy to help but please create a new thread first of all, as the steps we need to follow in your case/Jessica’s case may be different and it could quickly become confusing if we try to do both in a single thread 🙂
Jessica: are you able to share your theme (perhaps by posting a link to a download via a private reply)?

MemberHi Jessica,
So I don’t see the same thing when using only your theme; are you positive you tried deactivating all other plugins (except, of course, for The Events Calendar and any other Modern Tribe plugins)?June 25, 2013 at 6:00 am #52152Barry
MemberPlease ignore the above – I was looking at a different theme someone had sent across :-/
However, with Edge activated I hit a different problem in the form of a show stopping fatal error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function display_search_box() in /…/wp-content/themes/edge14ref/header.php on line 108
Is it possible that the display_search_box() function referenced in that error is provided by another plugin which the theme depends upon?

ParticipantI’m using Google Custom Search – http://littlehandytips.com/plugins/google-custom-search/ – I’m guessing that’s what’s causing the problem. Let me know if that’s a help. Thanks!!

MemberOK. When you opened the thread you marked down that you had tried deactivating other plugins to check for a plugin conflict – can you confirm what the outcome of that test was or else run through those steps now?
The idea would be to see if there is a problem with only your theme running by itself. If there is not, reactivate each plugin one-at-a-time and test at each stage to see if the originally reported problem has returned.
Does that help or are you/were you able to isolate any plugins by following those steps?
