ParticipantThere definitely seems to be a bug with recurring events and daylight savings time. Each time the time changes we have to go in and mess around with the hundreds of recurring events to get the time to display properly. It’s a big hassle. Our WordPress settings are setup correctly, for Los Angeles time, and in the wordpress settings it says we are on daylight savings time. However, I see in the latest release notes that this was still not addressed.
I am attaching 3 screenshots so you can review the issue.
In the one with the graphic image, you can see what the correct time is supposed to be. However in the back end, we have to set the time WRONG so that it will display correctly on the front end.
PS> I’m not requesting support, I’m submitting this bug so that hopefully it will be fixed in the future. I see there were other forum topics around it too.

MemberHi,
Thanks for reporting this.
We have a bug ticket in place, but we are also seeing people say it is fixed so we are trying to confirm it or fix it for 4.1.2
Thanks

ParticipantI just wanted to thank you once again for reaching out to us about this. We just released a new version of The Events Calendar and all of its addons that contains a fix for this.
Our blog post with the full details: The Events Calendar 4.1.4 and premium add-ons
We recommend updating as soon as you can to get the latest patches. Please let us know if this fixes the bug you have been experiencing or if you have any follow up questions. Thank you again!

ParticipantThat’s great that you got the bug fixed. However my subscription has already run out so I can’t download it without paying for it again. My client is not happy that they paid for a plugin that has this huge bug that has cost hours and hours of time fixing this issue twice per year, as well as confusion and hassle on the part of their website visitors when the time is displaying wrong. And now I’m asking them to pay for it again just to fix this huge bug in a premium plugin that apparently was never working in the first place. Not happy —
If there is any way to extend my subscription so that I can at least download this latest update, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much!

MemberHi,
I have done a one time extension of your license and you now have access to Pro 4.1.3.
Since the events are already created it most likely will not change the times and you would have to reedit the events to get them corrected.
That is all we can do for an expired license and for further support or updates we require an active license.
Thanks
