"Back" button in browser takes me back to current month view, not previous view

Often (though not always) when I am navigating our calendar, and click on an individual event to view it, then click “Back” in my browser to go back to where I was (often the day view for that day), it kicks me back to the current month view, rather than back to where I had been. Please help.

I had a look at your System Information, and I noticed your versions of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO are slightly outdated. Could you upgrade TEC from 4.6.14.1 to 4.6.18, and PRO from 4.4.25 to 4.4.27?

Furthermore, I noticed your PHP version (5.5.37) is below our minimum required PHP version (5.6). So if you could upgrade that too, your website should perform better.
