ParticipantHi there,
We’ve been having an issue for about a week now with some of our Administrators not being able to view the Attendees list through Events. I’ve poked around the forums and it looks like a few other have had this issue, but it was most often solved by ensuring orders were “complete” and not “processing”. Ours are all complete, they are set to automatically do that, but we are still struggling with the Attendees view. The strange thing is that we have about 24 Administrators on our account, but only maybe 5 or so are having this issue. We thought it was the added plug-in we installed to manage user roles, but we have since deactivated it and set everyone to be an Administrator. Any ideas for troubleshooting?
Thanks!
Jessica

ParticipantHey Jessica,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Since user role and capabilities are added to the database, it’s possible that even though the plugin has been deactivated and deleted the impact of changes made via the plugin could still be impacting on your site.
Do you have access to phpMyAdmin (or something like it) for the site? If so, you can check the usermeta table for the users with the access issue and compare to other admins with full access and see if there is anything strange for those users.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantI messed with the suggestion for a while and didn’t have any luck. I found the meta database and modified the Administrator data so that they can see everything including Attendees, but it didn’t work. What makes this issue confusing is that it is only a problem for certain Admins, not all. I suppose I can try to install a different user role plug in to see if that can resolve the issue?

ParticipantHey Jessica,
The next step that I would take in this scenario would be to reactivate the role manager plugin that you previously mentioned and review any settings associated with the users that are experiencing the visibility issue. If there is anything lingering in the database that you may have missed, this would help to make it easier to see within the plugins settings.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Josh,
We tried that along with a million other ideas – deleting and re-adding with a different username/email address, only using the generated password, deleting/reinstalling etc. It would work one minute and not the next. We finally have it functioning, no clue how or why, but I will take it!
Thanks for your help,
Jessica

ParticipantHey Jessica,
Strange indeed! I’m glad you’ve got it working now though!
I’ll go ahead and close this thread for now. If you have any further questions or if this issue pops back up again, please don’t hesitate to open a new one.
Thanks!
