MemberThanks for that.
It looks like you did it correctly in your first attempt (within first minute of your video).
Since it didn’t work for you but it did for me — and because I see you have many other plugins still active — I’d suggest deactivating all other plugins besides Modern Tribe’s and WooCommerce core (i.e. disable YITH plugins and the rest). I didn’t see you do that in your video.
Also, you really shouldn’t have to clear theme and browser cache each time since you’ve already added the code to the Jupiter parent theme’s functions.php before you re-activated it.

ParticipantI have tried that already. I deactivated all Plugins except Modern Tribe and WooCommerce, deleted all custom CSS and followed the procedure as in the video. Result is the same, not working.

MemberSorry, Ingo. I know this can be frustrating.
I saw another user’s thread that mentioned Jupiter Theme: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/ticket-fieldset-2/#post-1172209
I’d suggest checking out that thread. Please let me know if the fix that worked for them also works for you.

ParticipantHi Cliff,
so I tried that and it doesn’t work.
However this does let me add the custom fields without the MU-Plugin from Codeable. Making that 115$ investment a total waste. Also makes me think, why Jupiter theme tells me they don’t support 3rd Party Plugins but this guy somehow get’s a fix.
But it still doesn’t open up that attendee fields when buying the ticket, nothing has changed there.
I was thinking maybe one of the snippets in my functions.php could be the cause. I’m gonna take all the modern tribe snippets out and see what that does.

ParticipantThat doesn’t change anything either…

MemberI truly am sorry, Ingo. I honestly don’t know what else we can do for you at this point.
I appreciate your long efforts in this thread and previous. I hope our fix and Jupiter possibly coming out with a fix or a snippet or something for you can eventually get you up and running.
I’d suggest reaching out to Jupiter support again and asking how/why it works for them and not you and why they’re getting different/better support than you have received (if this is how you feel).
Please do update this thread again once you have any more updates for me.

ParticipantHi Cliff,
problem solved, believe it or not.
Jupiter support figured it out. Here is what they said:
The issue was related to Theme Options > Advanced > Manage Theme > Google PageSpeed Optimization (Beta Feature). I turn it off and it’s working fine now. This options was preventing JavaScript to add some codes to the page.
You are welcome to close this thread now (didn’t think I would hear myself saying that…) Thanks again also for your efforts, Cliff!
Regards

MemberGreat! Thanks for letting me know.
We’ll leave it open for the Pending Fix status (so it eventually gets an update once the fix is released), but I’m very glad to hear it got figured out. 🙂
