Again: Can I delete individual instances of a recurring event?

I can no longer delete individual instances of a recurring event. Neither of the techniques described in https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/can-i-delete-individual-instances-of-a-recurring-event/ works any longer.

Individual instances are no longer listed in the edit list, just the master (which, incidentally, seems like it should show the recurrence end date rather than the end date of the first instance). So I can’t use the first listed approach there (hover over instance Trash link).

And when I use the second approach, clicking the “Move to Trash” link from the Edit page for an individual instance, the entire master event is deleted along with all its instances.

I literally just did this 3 minutes ago. From the ‘Edit Events’ page or ‘Events’ page in “/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_events”, find the individual event you wish to delete and select the Trash link. Select ‘Delete only this events’ from the dialog that follows.

Thanks, Andy. But I don’t have individual events there for the recurring events at all. Only the “master” events.

Ok, I was able to get individual instances by disabling filters and going to the “all” view, but that’s way painful to find a single instance amongst thousands. (Plus, search didn’t seem to find but one instance of the event either.)

Yes, it’s painful, but it’s there. The events all seem to be date sorted.

Andy’s suggestion is the best route at this time, Bob. Though thanks for your feedback on this…it’s definitely worth discussing internally on our end if there’s an easier built in approach. Glad to hear you got it sorted in a capacity that works for you in the interim.
