Hi, we are using Events Calendar Pro on our website http://www.birchmere.com/calendar/ and are using the addthis plugin for WordPress which works great on the individual events but most people just look at the main events list so I’m trying to add sharing bars to each event but they aren’t lining up right for some reason, see the event Sylvia Browne on 5/30/13 (I added the Title and URL as well), the functionality seems ok but not the alignment. Any ideas?
Like this? There are double break tags after each ‘button’ and that is probably the reason they are sort of ‘staggered’ vertically.
That isn’t anything to do with our plugin, however, so you would probably need to seek advice from the plugin vendor or your theme vendor (a number of themes process the content in such a way that paragraph and break tags can, inadvertently, be added in the wrong places).
Exactly like that, I’ve posted the same question at addthis so hopefully they can help. I’m hoping I can just put them under the event in an iframe or something. Thanks.
This was AddThis’ response and it seems to have fixed the issue 🙂
It seems like the issue isn’t with AddThis or Modern Tribe, but with WordPress. It seems that because you’re adding the buttons manually they’re inferring that you want to put tags between them, which is causing the staggered appearance. Try putting all the buttons on the same line, like this:
Oops, it left out the code, anyhow putting all of the code on one line seems to have fixed the issue
