ParticipantHello,
New PRO user here. I set up an additional field named “REGISTER AT” with type as URL. WHen I enter a URL for the event it displays with all html tags instead of the link itself
Example
<a href="http://website_entered_here.com" target="self">https://website_entered_here.com</a>Is there some setting I need to change. I searched for other such questions on the forum but I didnt see any so I’m guessing that this is particular to my set up or installation.
Some additional information:
URL entered into the predefined “Website” field displays correctly as a link
I have also tried this with the Twenty twelve theme -same result. “Website” url displays as link but the Additional Field URL displays HTMLPerhaps you can suggest some setting that I need to change? Alternatively, can you point me to which file I need to modify if I would like to change the event detail labels in the bottom box of the event page (the one that says “website” – change to “register”)
Thanks for your help

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.
I created an additional field and set it to be a url and showed as html for me too. It is because we escape the html, but did not account for the url field.
Nico provided a fix for it here that can help in the mean time:
That fixed the issue for me as well and I am creating a ticket to address this.
Website to Registration
As for editing the event templates we have the themer’s guide to help you move and edit them:https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Following that guide you want to move and edit this file in your theme:
the-events-calendar\src\views\modules\meta\details.php
Moved to:
yourtheme\tribe-events\modules\meta\details.php
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
