I am allowing anomynous users to submit events to the calendar. I have checked the box to allow and when I try to access the page it is asking for a user name and password. I’ve tried it on several computers. Can you tell me how to fix it?

Hi, I am just looking for how I can allow anonymous users to add events. How did you do?

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having. I took a look at your site and saw the login form. However, I just checked again this morning.

And I can see the form now without having to login. I noticed you are using W3 Total Cache so maybe that cached the page still?

You may have to tweak the settings in W3 to make sure the Community Events Forms are working on the front end correctly.

Let me know if you are seeing the form now.

    Hello nagroup,

The anonymous submissions are a feature of the Community Events and not a feature of Pro.

The anonymous settings are found in this section of your admin area:

    Events > Settings > Community

Then check the box for Allow anonymous submissions and save.

    Thanks

Since there is has not been any activity on this thread for over 2 weeks so I am now closing it. Feel free to start a new thread if you have further issues. Thanks! 🙂
