    Hello — I understand that timezone does not display by default on an event listing. I found the following forum string.

    But I wasn’t clear which files to edit. Please explain which files to edit in order to add timezone to event listings.

    There are lots of different places that events are listed – do you want to change all of them (and have you tried changing the WordPress time format setting)?

    I have updated the WordPress time format setting. So now, all the time listings include “PDT” The problem is that, we may be hosting events in different timezones. If we have an event in NYC, we’d prefer the time be listed as Eastern, not Pacific so using the universal timezone setting in WP is not ideal. We’d like to set timezone at the event level. Two options I see: 1) A way to actually enter the time with different timezones so that the add-to-google calendar listings are accurate. 2) Adding a text or picklist field to the event entry form and then revising the templates so that a timezone text label (i.e. “Eastern,” “Central” etc.) appears wherever the times get listed. If we do #2, we’d have to hide/disable the save to google because we might label an event at 1 p.m. “Eastern” when the actual time, as defined by the universal settings in WP, is Pacific. Does that make sense?

    That does make sense and you’d have to pick between whichever of those approaches you are most comfortable with – I’m afraid assisting with customizations of this depth isn’t something we can do here on the support forum.

    That said, do feel free to post a feature request over on tribe.uservoice.com – it certainly sounds like something that could make a worthy addition to the plugin 🙂
