This method has been working well for about 4 years but just recently we began receiving complaints that the end date was 1 day off. We tested this noticed that while the _EventEndDate custom field was showing the correct date, the incorrect date was being used by Events Calendar Pro.
As you can see _EventEndDate is set to May 13 '2015-05-13 19:00:00' while the date output is May 12.
We noticed that there’s quite a bit of data being stored under _EventRecurrence so maybe that’s a cause of the issue. This event is NOT recurring though.
The issue is when we create a new event from our form. Our form DOES create the correct _EventEndDate data so we’re confused about why this isn’t being used. It seems that the _EventRecurrence field is being used instead.
What else can we get you to troubleshoot this problem?
I looked up some of my events and nothing is in recurrence for some. I also changed the _EventEndDate field in the database and it showed up in the Event Editor with the change. So it appears that field is the correct one.
If you send me a link to the Gravity Form, form export and what plugin you are using for Gravity forms to create a custom post type I can try it on my end and see what I find out.
However, I am limited in supporting this so may not be able to provide a solution.
I am going to close this topic as we typically close threads if there is no activity after two weeks. Feel free to create a new thread and reference this one to save you time.
Thanks
