ParticipantHi,
It looks like we have the same issue as this thread, the plugin seems to conflict with Piklist – https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/500-error-after-updating-recurring-events/
Whenever we try to edit an event we get a 500 error.
We disabled all the plugins and used the default theme and found it works OK until we enable Piklist again. Disabling Piklist on the live site isn’t an option for us.
This is the error WordPress gave when I turned on debugging:
Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to Tribe__Events__Pro__Recurrence__Series_Rules_Factory::build_from() must be of the type array, string given, called in /var/www/familiesmagazine/staging-site/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence/Meta.php on line 1060 and defined in /var/www/familiesmagazine/staging-site/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence/Series_Rules_Factory.php on line 32
Is there any update on the issue? It’s quite seriously affecting our site and evidently others as well, would be great to have a fix 🙂

MemberGood evening Janine and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the conflict you have experienced while using our plugins alongside the Piklist framework.
As my colleague Victor found out in https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/500-error-after-updating-recurring-events/Â thread, we were able to reproduce this on our end.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this.
Alas, I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.
They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through. In the meantime, you might want to reach out to the plugin’s author in case they see something obvious we might have missed at first glance.
Best regards,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
