I am getting a 404 when trying to view any of my events. The events show in my dashboard, in the calendar, and widgets, I see them when I edit, but they don’t seem to exist when I try to view them as published.
Thoughts? Thank you!
Hi – I’m sorry you’re hitting difficulties here.
In the first instance can you try visiting Permalink Settings and see if that resolves this (you don’t actually need to modify anything – just visiting this page will force WordPress to “flush” it’s record of rewrite rules).
Does that help at all?

Thank you! That seems to have done the trick. Any idea what caused the problem? Is this something I need to do any time I disable the plugin and reactivate?
Sometimes if you activate a new plugin (or add code to your theme) or even if your theme/a plugin is updated the rewrite rules – which WordPress uses to handle requests – can be modified.
Every now and again such a change will not play nicely with existing rules and cause a situation like this one. Generally it shouldn’t happen but if and when it does, this is often a quick way of fixing things 🙂
Glad it’s sorted in any case and I will now go ahead and close this thread – but of course if we can help with anything else definitely feel free to create new topics as needed.
