    We purchased Pro but have never been able to used it because of the limited recurring events capability. My question again with v3.1 coming out, is can we create an event, like a 3 day kayak tour, and have it recur on random dates in the future?

    Example:
    Columbia Glacier Sea Kayaking June 3-6 (3 day tour)
    Columbia Glacier Sea Kayaking June 20-23 (3 day tour)
    Columbia Glacier Sea Kayaking July 15-18 (3 day tour)
    Columbia Glacier Sea Kayaking Aug 23-26 (3 day tour)

    Hi,

    Thanks for the interest in 3.10. However, that feature has not been added to our plugins for recurring events.

    I do not have a timeline when that might be released.

    I don’t think this feature request has a time line. It has been requested for a long time. At this point we are looking for another event calendar plugin. Any recommendations appreciated. There must be other companies that need recurring trip events like us.

    Sorry I do not have any recommendations nor know of any plugins that can do this.

    10-4. Maybe someone else will throw up some ideas. Maybe someone else will see a new plugin development niche.

    It would be great to hear from a non-frontline Tribe employee as to why their developers can’t pull this feature request off. I purchased the Pro version thinking that the recurring events feature would be more advanced but that version couldn’t do it either.

    Unfortunately, due to 3.10 taking twice as long as projected new features got pushed back.

    With 3.10 we have refactored the coding to make it easier for us start pushing out new features.

    The Custom Recurrence is number 2 on that list to get added into the plugins and I hope it is in the next couple of releases.

    However, I do not have a release date for when that might happen as something can always come up in development that might delay it as we just saw with 3.10.

    Since there is nothing more we can do on a feature request in this thread I am going to close it.
