ParticipantIs there a way for events calendar pro to better handle 2 events at the same time? I am building a site where they have many instances of 2 events happening at the same time. And one is overlapping the other.

ParticipantHi, roosites. Great question! 🙂
While that’s an excellent idea for an additional feature, this is, admittedly, a bit outside the scope of support that we can provide here on the forums. While we are definitely able to help people with simple tweaks when they arise, writing a chunk of code like this is unfortunately a bigger task than we’ve got bandwidth and as a result the best we can offer up is to try and point you in the right direction towards our Technical Documentation and our Themer’s Guide. It might be worth looking for a freelance developer on WordPress’ Jobs board of Freelance Switch, if you’re in a pinch.
If you do decide to pursue this on your own, please feel free to come back if you get stuck on a particular piece of the puzzle. We’re always happy to make sure you stay pointed in the right direction.
Also, if you have the time, we’d very grateful for your feature suggestions on our UserVoice page. New features are prioritized based on the response they receive from the community there.
Thanks!

ParticipantThanks. But as the calendar vendor, I would think these types of issues would be things you would help with and not tell folks to find a freelancer. Right now I have a disappointed client as there is no print ability and now it can’t even handle multiple events in the same time frame. These are both things which almost every calendar app known to man handles with ease.
You have a great product, but if it can’t do routine functions, and if support can’t help, then I will need to go elsewhere.

ParticipantHi, roosites. Thanks for your feedback. It sounds like we didn’t do a good job of communicating the features of the plugin, and I really apologize for that.
The plugin is continually evolving, and there are many features that would be awesome to have as part of it. Unfortunately, we only have time to implement so many, and honestly, I haven’t heard much call from the user community for print support or a different way to view simultaneous events in week view (even though it makes sense to me why those are things you’d expect to find in the plugin).
Obviously, we’ve failed you here, and we’d like to make sure this doesn’t happen for other users like you. Is there something beyond what we do now with the product page, new user primer, and demo site that we could have done that would have better set your expectations?

ParticipantHi, roosites. Since it’s been a couple of weeks, I’m going to close out this thread. Please do start a new topic if there’s anything else we can do to help.
Thanks for beings a TEC user! 🙂
