When using a Full Site Editing (FSE) theme, such as Twenty Twenty-Five, traditional menu options under the Appearance section, such as Menus, are no longer present. For managing content, including menus, you’d need to use Block Editor.
For adding a navigation menu to your site, you can utilize the Navigation Block in any post, page, or template. Following the steps below will show you how to add a navigation menu and include the events page into the navigation.
- Edit the Desired Page or Post: Open the page, post, template where you want to add the navigation link.
- Add a Navigation Block:
- Click the + icon to add a new block.
- Search for and select the Navigation block.
- Add Menu Items:
- Within the Navigation block, click + to add a new link.
- Select Link and enter the URL or search for your event or calendar page. By default, calendar’s slug is
events, so searching and adding events will add the calendar archive page to the Navigation block. - Repeat to add multiple links as needed.
- Configure the Navigation block:
- Use the block settings to adjust the layout, alignment, and appearance of the navigation links.

- Save Changes:
- After configuring the Navigation block, update or publish the page or post to apply the changes.
