I was interested in this as well, as I don’t want to be penalized by search engines for having all those 404s. Weird thing is, I don’t even have a Tribe-events folder within my theme’s folder!

Any other team members able to chime in on this issue?

OK so… how can I resolve this? I’m comfortable making CSS tweaks if I knew where to make them.

Yes, that’s what I have. I was under the impression that the widget would’ve looked like the one on wpshindig.com out of the box – at least that’s my understanding of “demo.”

Since there’s no mentioning of “you need to do such and such customization in order to get what you see on this demo”, what customization do I have to do?

    Thanks, that would surely help!
Barry, I’ve already created a separate thread for the second issue – and you’re the one who has responded to that one, too. 🙂

No Barry it didn’t resolve anything. I did use twenty twelve and I have the SAME issues: recurring events are still showing AND the date does not show on the left hand side of the event name, like it shows on your demo.

Thanks neillmcshea. Yes, just like PayPal, the code for that button is unique and generated for a specific event, so it won’t work with overriding the template. I guess I’ll have to live with putting it in the event description.
I have looked at the tickets plugin. It is not the solution for this case because 1. it doesn’t support the payment gateway I have 2. My payment gateway, Vendini, does the same thing.

Yes I did. But then I couldn’t see any sidebar at all.

It could be strange cause most ppl might have not have the need to only show the first occurrence of a recurring event. Someone else has the same issue as I do, as the link in my starting comment indicates.

I did deactivate all other plugins. No change whatsoever.

    *biting nails* Anyone, please?

Barry, I turned the calendar off because of the issue and left list of events on instead (that’s what what I wrote on point #2 above). The list of events widget on my site doesn’t show the date on the left hand side like you have on your demo.

Except that there’s no color tab showing under settings (yes I activated the plugin and created categories).
