Hi Andy – thanks for helping. You’re probably right. After the WP 3.6 update, I did have an issue with the slider I’m using giving me a jquery error. This issue with EC was there the moment I updated WP. I installed jQuery Updater plugin and the issue with my slider went away, but the one with EC continues.

Thanks Barry. OK, I understand what you’re saying, now, about them not being directly involved. But you do understand that I have no way of knowing IF they’re getting involved or not, right?

I can’t see what you wrote me in the private message. But I do see the test event. And yes the issue is there: date for each of those 4 events, on admin end, it shows as 2013-11-02.
Also, my other issue was with the “Hide From Event Listings” which wasn’t working as I understood it’s supposed to work: show only the first event on the event listing widget, but turn the others off (ones which I select “Hide From Event Listings”) – I do want all of them to show on the calendar, however.

Yes it solved that issue (width). Thank you!
Now I’ll wait for the #2 question šŸ™‚

OK Rob. And yes, I’m fully aware of there are many others with issues that that you have a 24-48 hr window during the business week. So yes, that’s a misunderstanding, too. What I’m trying to say is, again, no developers who may know a bit more have responded yet. Case in point: you mentioned there’s a ticket for Jessica since 7/31 but I don’t see her here responding.
Like I said, I don’t have an issue with anyone from Tribe logging in. I’ll create a user and make a private reply for that.

You serious? Damn it, don’t I feel smart now šŸ™
So now my questions about the Events Calendar widget are:
    1. What can I do about the calendar that’s too wide?
    2. “Number of events to show: ” – what does this control? I increased it to 10 but the number of events showing, by default, underneath the calendar as a list doesn’t change.

OK. I got the latest update of EC (3.0.3), which says it’s compatible with WP 3.6 and no luck.

No Barry, I’m not confusing anything. See this screenshot, I’ve circled in red what is missing. http://tinypic.com/r/2lw24ht/5

I did update. Still get a “page not found” on the title of the page, and the content of the page says “No events scheduled for August 23, 2013. Please try another day.”

In my humble opinion, it would be great if developers could build it so when there’s no activity on a certain day, there wouldn’t be a link to go to that day.

Thanks Barry. I’ve looked there but I can’t see a specific example of what to do. In addition, I am not 100% it’s just a CSS styling. From my little understanding of reading PHP, it looks like, in order for the date to show like Tribe has on the widget list example, I’d have to actually go to wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/views/widgets/list-widget.php and add a php call there. But I don’t know what that call should be.

You also asked me to create an account for you to look at it but you haven’t give me an email address where to send that info.

Rob, thanks for jumping in. I’m sorry you spent all that time writing the above you have misunderstood what I said. I never mentioned anywhere I don’t trust Barry or anyone else who works for you. I thought my post was clear, but I guess not. What I am getting frustrated about is that I keep going back and forth with someone who, not his fault, is not the developer and clearly doesn’t have the technical skills to resolve this issue. Again, nothing against him, I just need a solution. I’ve answered all the questions Barry had. He said on the 31st “I’m going to have to seek some help from another team member as I’m afraid I have no idea what could be causing this.” Yet there’s no other team member who has jumped in yet to help resolve this. I don’t care if it’s Barry or Larry or Jerry – I’m just looking for a solution.

Barry, with all due respect, I do understand you’re a contractor and not a developer. Could you please have a developer from Tribe get involved?
Yes I have no problem with Tribe developers logging in.
